Who are fleas attracted to

Fleas – a detachment of bloodsucking insects that live on animals, birds and man.

Mature female lays eggs on the “masters” from who they usually fall. The clutch contains about 10-15 eggs. After 1-2 weeks the larvae are emerging and are looking like little white worms. The fleas larvae are evolving in places that accumulate different impurity and eat excrements of adult insects that contain any blood, or different residues that are being folded. After 1-1.5 weeks, the larvae turn into pupae, and after 7-10 days adult insect comes from pupae. The entire development cycle lasts about four weeks.

Little flea is black color, adult – brown. Flea size varies from 1 to 5 mm. Have oral apparatus of prick-sucking type. Due to the special structure of insect limbs can easily move through the body animals cling to it at any inclination. Fleas can jump at distance dimensions, which is many times bigger than their body (up to 30 cm long and 18-20 cm in height). Theoretically, the adult insect can live for 1.5 years, but the actual lifetime is 3-4 months.

Causes of fleas
